That's a very good point. If he was a smart dude he should have demanded that Tig dies anyway regardless of a new regime starting under him. It's a good way to keep the fear and respect.

I feel u. Clay getting set up is the worst one. He can say he gave the gun to Juice and Juice would get picked up cuz of his record alone. Then the dude is basically an illegal gun runner, why would he use his own weapon and leave it behind?

Its obvious this show has went on too long. That's why it better to end shows early. The Wire ended to soon tho, so that can happen too.
