Detective Pikachu looks infinity times better than this. I'm actually more excited about that than this and I loved Sonic and never got into Pokemon like that.

Why the fukk does this have the same soundtrack main song as the movie "dangerous minds" from 1995 for no reason is the main question
On this note:
The funniest thing about following the two movies online today has been seeing how Sonic fans are capital 'M' MAD about Detective Pikachu getting so much love. Even the ones that don't like this trailer are legit fuming.
And I'll say this much: the two movies are similar in concept. However, the difference lies in the execution. Detective Pikachu and all the other Pokemon look like themselves, just with fur and scales and whatnot. The also look more blended into the world, the jokes in the trailers were funnier and more creative, and DP has a stronger sense of style.
I think people are over-exaggerating just how bad the trailer is as a whole, but you are buggin' if you think this Sonic redesign comes anywhere close to what WB and The Pokemon Company pulled off with Detective Pikachu.
