Tails came through the same ring portals from earlier in the flick, checking a tracking device that lead him to Earth where Sonic is. He then communicates "If these readings are accurate, he's here — I found him! I just hope I'm not too late” before helicoptering off using his tail in search of Sonic.

Also for anyone wondering why they set the movie on earth and why a lot of stuff isn’t mentioned like möbius and sally etc., the writers only had permission to use stuff from sonic 1 I believe. One of them host a podcast and he mentioned it a few episodes back. They had one game to work with and had to go from there

This movie may have broken the video game curse. I enjoyed it, I assume going by the SEGA at the beginning they’re wanting to take movies seriously. Good first step for the franchise, hope they bring in Knuckles next he was always my favorite.

Yeah, although his best moments are already all over the trailers he kills it. He completely accepts and runs with the fukkery like he stepped straight off the Ace Ventura set into this.

I’d watch it, it’s got a good story. Really that’s all they would have to do is follow the story and not try and do any twist or over complicate things by explaining to much about things that don’t matter.

Knuckles was the best of the both worlds. He could go fast, glide, and punch the shyt out of a mountain. His only downfall was he was so gullible. They even made a point of it in the Sonic Dreamcast game.
