Also would of been cool if the ending included a journalist covering the introduction of crack to america. I dunno, ending just didnt really click for me but i guess the show jumped the shark a long time ago

Yeah another flaw in the story. He had real estate to sell and should have taken whatever was offered for that spring street property.
But furthermore you don't move the weight Franklin moved and just get to live life in a place where the DEA can find you. No way they were hunting Louie and had no interest in Franklin.
Show was decent but I'm not gonna spend time thinking about it, because the writers didn't spend much time thinking about it either.
Louie and Cissy(both I believe)told Franklin it wasnt no getting out from under Teddy. Yet Franklin chose to quit,got wiped out by Teddy. And somehow decided to hold Louie?
Hopefully after yall saw what he wouldve done to Leon. You can now see that money simply drove him insane for two seasons.
It wasnt because Jerome or specefically Louie did any insane betrayl,people like to pretend Louie did. Franklin Saint simply went temporarily insane for two seasons about that 72 million.
Which of course ends with him losing his mind permanantely

Yeah he was smart and dumb at the same time. How in the hell you don't have money aside in case shyt went south. shyt a stash house no one knew about with a vaulted safe.
I really wanted him to get that money. His mom fukked everything up. But shyt in reality, many drug dealers were left with nothing if they didn't go to jail or end up dead.

So franklin being mean to teddy was the straw that broke cissy’s back, and caused her to destroy him him, huh? This was like the laziest way to lead the viewer to Saints ultimate downfall lol. Dude was literally just trying to get his money back and B-Legit, but she just straight up threw her and their family’s future away to hate on him.
I know right. The dope dealing was done. The killing was done. He would got his money and bounced. Her dumb ass gets in her feelings which resulted in being in jail the rest of her life. Instead of living large.

This was just downright depressing. I stayed away from the last episode and the finale so I could watch it like a movie. It was great t.v., but damn its such a bummer the way Saint went out. Especially cause it rings so true from growing up it that time, and seeing the one time high rollers fall off. The visual of Franklin was spot on
Lots of people here complaining about Franklin becoming an alcoholic and that being absurd and he wouldn’t do such a thing. Trust me, it was a sad way to go out. But once he took that many bodies (especially the innocent Mexican at the end) and you’ve lost 73 MILLION, is it really that farfetched? Do you know how many people would hit the bottle or do something fukked up losing 73k? People commit suicide and all sorts of irrational things.
Man, I just hate how they turned Franklin into a dummy. U realize the lengths the US government went to fight communism? Franklin had a kgb agent. That dude was at least worth the 3mil Franklin wanted from Leon.
And they had the account numbers from Teddy. They coulda seized that money. He didn't have to go out like dat
