The way Jerome was telling Franklin to shoot him it was like Jerome wanted Franklin to dead him so that Jerome could escape the life he’s in. Jerome probably just wanted his weight bench and subwoofer shop but he’s done too much to have that simple life now.



Also problem with Franklin is that he doesn’t have a Weebay, a Snoop, or a Chris on his side. No loyal shooters on the payroll. People talk to him like he ain’t shyt, no respect at all.

Is it me or does Jerome's voice sound like he is over doing it this season?

In another lifetime, Manboy would have been his perfect right hand (Stringer) with Leon being "Weebey". Manboy could have made millions. Was smart enough to see the bigger picture like Franklin. He was just too smart to be content being under Franklin. If he had a little bit less of that, they would have been a team.

edit: I don’t know how people can look back over this series and keep bigging up frank, only thing he had was a relentless drive for money, otherwise ari gave him his first break, Jerome gave him the game, louie gave him his first connect and bailed him out during his series of bad choices in season 4, leon gave him the muscle, and RZA gave him the recipe.

And none of the above mentioned would’ve been 8 figure earners with offshore accounts without Frank. Every major dealer has had exactly what you typed above. Muscle, someone who put them on, a connect, & someone who gave them game. You named off what they did for Frank, cool, they were a team and all did what they needed to do to help the empire grow. They even stepped up in moments when Frank was down and out, especially louie.

There is no scenario where stealing the plug from your nephew is cool At the level they're at, she put Franklin in a dangerous situation.

Like I said, Louie and Jerome were sitting on $10, $20 million dollars....in the 1980s....that's like $50 million today. To act like they couldn't have found their own plug is not believable. She intentionally fukked him over.

Kept the recipe secret
Franklin is the worse ( drug dealer in history) and that plug fell in his hands

Also being from Cali, always felt Franklin be overdoing his cali voice impression when he tries to turn up. Most of the time he sounds good when he’s calm but some of his calm lines do sound forced. He be tryna sound to much like Dub C

The actor playing Jerome would’ve been better off using his real voice just using a slight southern accent
I’ve grown to not like Franklin at all
They should’ve got a unknown LA actor to play him

Facts but he is British so I give him a little bit of a pass and he's a pretty good actor outside of his accent being off but you're right. Now that you shared this it makes sense Dub C is his dialect coach

I don't like the writing for Franklin's charcter especially this season. They made him kinda bytch made, getting slapped and no one really respecting him and his family been turning on him since last season. They let the white man divide them which I don't like to see.

Facts she was wrong for that, that was fukked up. Should have backdoored him and act like she was buying them and running shyt but then give them to Franklin.

However she let her own ego and her feeling this is her time to run the show with Jerome cause her to snake Franklin when he was the one who put them on in the first place. Never bite the hand that feeds you. With out Frank, Louie would have been dyking with that other chick at the club on ocassion and Jerome would have been some small speakershop owner barley even making 40k a year.
