The way Jerome was telling Franklin to shoot him it was like Jerome wanted Franklin to dead him so that Jerome could escape the life he’s in. Jerome probably just wanted his weight bench and subwoofer shop but he’s done too much to have that simple life now.
Also problem with Franklin is that he doesn’t have a Weebay, a Snoop, or a Chris on his side. No loyal shooters on the payroll. People talk to him like he ain’t shyt, no respect at all.

Kane had damn near the whole family and friends clapped in a couple swoops. nikkas aint know WHO was what after that level of coordination. This mf damn near stopped the crack epidemic and didn't even know itI disagree, they made Kane's entrance good as hell with all them drivebys happening at once.
Teddy meetup with Oso/Franklin - Almost killed Teddy and Oso

No street dude or anyone really, had put that type of pressure on all the power ppl involved. After he showed that display of force, he didnt need to do anything else because Franklin, Leon and Kane worked out a deal and squashed everything. Franklin folded and struck a deal.
It was Louie that went behind Franklins back, after the deal, and had Buckley use cop status to get Kane touched. Kane been outta commission since that
Kane was the domino that jumpstarted Teddy's paranoia and eventual betrayal of Franklin, and the opening Louie needed in order to usurp Saint as well.
He way more important than mfs think. If Skully ran Inglewood and is lettin yall know you in trouble, mfs better listen

he was projecting. Frank always been self conscious and insecure about not being respected or seen as “someone”, just cuz that drove him to make money by any means doesn’t mean everyone else needed that validation. Jerome was fine being the unc that stepped up, selling his weed, lifting his weights, bumpin his music and being a man that lived by and had a code. Frank’s insecure ass is the one who assumed everyone needed to be breaded up to feel good about themselves, and he drug everyone down to the worst versions of themselves, including what Louie is today while also not letting people like leon get out when they had enough. nah breh, just cuz your mom spent years being shyt on by her white boss and you couldn’t cut it with the white folk at college doesn’t mean everyone else had that need to be validated chip on their shoulder.but franklin also wasn't lying either
edit: I don’t know how people can look back over this series and keep bigging up frank, only thing he had was a relentless drive for money, otherwise ari gave him his first break, Jerome gave him the game, louie gave him his first connect and bailed him out during his series of bad choices in season 4, leon gave him the muscle, and RZA gave him the recipe.
