Just randomly saw this and it took me out
It was a good episode and even good finale in terms of entertainment but Franklin’s descent wasn’t believable
Him becoming a sudden alcoholic was just a quick and cheap way to make him act like a fiend because they had to wrap up the show and wanted an ending scenario where becomes like the people he poisoned.
You can tell the spinoff changed things which is why the main players didn't really get fates they can't come out of because they'll plug them in the spinoff
Franklin needed a much worse and harsher ending.
Franklin wasn't the hoe though the power did corrupt. If anything Louie takes that title she let the white mean divide and conquer them and Jerome went along with it. If Franklin kept the power everyone would have kept eating.Nothing slips past you, Sherlock Homeboy. You're Juelzing for the ULTIMATE hoe in this story, Franklin Saint, but you try to use my gender as an insult? Take that blackcel shyt somewhere else - grown folks are talking here. Enjoy this ig.
Fair point but she was still wrong for taking his money and dipping.I don’t think she coulda had the convo with him. He was far to one and might have killed her or beat her.
I'm not jumping ahead to say what he did or would do with that money. Maybe he smartens up and liquidates his buildings however it wasn't her place to take his money. That's just wrong don't matter how you spin it.You trippin. He turned on her despite all she did to ride with him, yes, she took the money as he wasn’t going to do anything but waste it pridefully chasing something out of reach. You thinking just as emotional as franklin. Like ok, he makes that one payment and things are delayed 2-3 more months before he loses the building…and the family won’t have a dime. At least his kid is living somewhat well. Yep, imma defend that shyt since you don’t seem to know how credit and financing a multimillion high rise works
Man she should leave if that's the case but her taking that money was wrong. That's how I feel about it period. She ain't even leave him a dime of it when he took most of the risk. She took some too but no where near on the level he did. I'm not saying he was right for putting his hands on her, just in a way he gave her too much power and she was a snake just like her mom. The fact she making moves behind his back and shyt and then took his money and left shows her bad character. It's easy to try to justify her actions with Frankliyn decompensating and losing his mind but I would never defend a thief and a liar, that's just me.nah, i wouldn't say she was wrong. i get why lots of people dont like what she did. but it's hard for me to say she was wrong given: a) how much she had already stood beside franklin as he spiraled down the drain, b) the fact she's carrying his kid, and c) the fact he had devolved to the point of putting hands on her.
veronique explained to her mom why she stayed with franklin: he never lied, never put his hands on her, never left her in a prison cell. figuratively or literally, he did all three at the end. had her sitting in the same stash spot he used as a prison for teddy. put his hands on her when he felt she betrayed him. didn't tell her what he was doing with the south central properties.

Boy stopFranklin wasn't the hoe though the power did corrupt. If anything Louie takes that title she let the white mean divide and conquer them and Jerome went along with it. If Franklin kept the power everyone would have kept eating.
If I was Franklin I would have killed myself after I killed the locksmith.
But him becoming a drunk bum like his father makes sense. My guess Franklin dies soon after the final scene or there’s some kind of redemption arc they plan on with him with Wanda spin-off story if they go that route.
But it’s probably better that he dies. Because he deserves it
Again, I'm seeing alot chatter online. Was it possible for V to sell his stake? Some are saying if Davis hadn't showed up to Cissy's house, she would have sold his stake and was gone. What did you just WATCH. Her mother’s warning coming true, about men like Franklin and how they turn on you. He grabbed her up and made it abundantly clear he’d do whatever he wanted and she needed to stay out the way. That was enough to let her know she needed to dip. Lol @ waiting until they’re near broke to finesse him simply because that was always the goal
