Another nice thing is each character who ratcheted up the demonicness (Frank, Louie and Teddy) to avoid their fears ended up receiving the worst level of what they were trying to avoid.
Louie lost Jerome and is penniless and dependent on others.
Teddy was thrown in the bushes by uncle Sam.
Frank is his dad.

Most shows don’t have the heart to end thus way. Much respect for them giving the ending that was needed.
I deadass cried when Leon went to see Cissy in jail. Had that big ole smile on her face when Leon pledged to help fund the center
