Eh, Louie went from a damn near queen pin to being a fugitive that has to take odd jobs to survive, knowing that she got the person she loved killed because she couldn't stop and leave with him.
I'd say that's worse than death.
Not to mention, alcohol is the ultimate devilGood finale and extremely realistic.
