First of all you don’t know what Teddy would have done after the call to transfer the money. There’s no way Franklin was getting away with that money.
Cissy told him not to make a deal with the devil because she seen what happened with Alton. I don’t think she believed Teddy when he said Alton was alive.
That’s why she asked him the question when the shyt was over and he no longer had to lie to save his ass anymore. She got that cracka out the paint.

The money woulda been in Franklin account at that point. Teedy can’t do shyt but kill him at that point.
Teedy don’t have magical powers to take make out Franklin account, he only was able to steal from him cause he set Franklin up and literally brought him to the bank.
Once the money was In Franklin account, Franklin clearly ready to live and die with the war from teedy.

No not really, teddy stole the money in the first place to buy himself some time with the Cia because they were not bringing in enough to finance the war in Nicaragua and the original plan was to take that money from Franklin give it to the Cia to buy some time to get operations back up which was supposed to go through Louie since franklin was quitting.
Now he did say how the war was beginning to resolve so maybe they didn't have to give the money up but I clearly recall teddy saying several times even if he could give him the money he couldn't because it was tied up in accounts with the Cia.
When cissy once again questioned teddy about Alton and he lost his composure and told her he lied she knew he was on some bs about that money and had no intentions to return it. Once teddy got loose he was going to go rampage on that entire family and she knew it. She knew she was going to kill teddy.

Personally if I was franklin I simply would have just used veronique and her momma to get my scam on and get my money back up. Franklin was being a bit irrational actually believing he could get his money back from the government. Even after teddy spoke to him in truth and let him know he was a tool and he can do what he wants because hey he the dam government. Got to know when to hold em and when to fold em and Franklin just didn't want to fold.
His best move would have been just work with Louie until he gets his weight up and bounce out the game like he wanted to. In that scenario now Louie and jerome take the fall when all this shyt comes crashing down. But hey that angle not good for television lol

Disagree. If that money was tied into cia accounts they wouldn’t be asking him for it. They woulda just took it and killed him. The agent was literally in Teddy warehouse assuming he was dead and looking for it.
Teddy was ready to run off with the money, after that last convo cause he knew he was lying. Saying turn it over and you might be able to get back in.
he just wanted to kill Franklin first due to the threat to his sons life.

I don't think his mom is as dumb as you all think. Cissy might be able to see the big picture while franklin is just consumed with getting his money back. Cissy didn't have the heart to tell franklin dude that money outta here. What Cissy did by killing franklin was make herself the sacrifice so franklin could get away. Cissy can also simply place Louie in franklin place on who was working with teddy since the kgb got all the evidence Louie was doing business. This move could be the thing that frees franklin.
