bro, from her standpoint - not you as an omnipotent viewer - how is she supposed to see it? frank gave her name to kane as the shooter and gave up her location as far as horse riding?
that said, regardless of what he did, she was out here warring with these people and gotta hold the L that is collateral damage, a war has casualties. the writers/editors also aint give that shyt no room to breathe with that preview (my bad for watching the preview too), at least let us believe she might be grateful frank put the call out to get her ass outta there
because she saw it before kane got the drop on her. that was the purpose of the convo with jerome imo. she knows and she said she doesn't care, because what louie wants has always superseded what louie has to do to get it. that's been her character from day one.
but does she care now, given what she's lost?
if she doesn't care, that's fine. it actually reinforces who louie has always been. but louie blaming franklin just to set up a conflict is weak as hell after you spent an episode showing louie is smart enough to know better.
Jerome checked out back on the Arkansas episode. He only went along with it because of that snake he married

Man, he was out before that, back when he first tried to dip and just focus on jammin Jerome’s. He had so many moments where he was disgusted with what was going down, like when he had to kill Khadijah. Him and Leon were fukked over that for different reasons

Louie was ungrateful and selfish which started the conflict with Franklin and then she tried to kill Kane. I can write about how dumb Louie is for pages so I won’t.
Franklin gave up Louie’s location at the horse stable knowing deep down he would never be okay with someone killing her. He should’ve figured out a way to take out Kane first instead of giving up his family to him even if he was at odds with Jerome and Louie temporarily. Their beef (Franklin vs. Jerome-Louie) should’ve been handled in house…not with Kane being involved. Had Franklin killed Kane from the jump this wouldn’t have happened. Now his uncle goneSo technically Louie has a small point.

Not only that but the cliche ass 50 people in a shootout yet it comes down to the three of them alone with the big bad having a gun to the protagonist's loved one's head saying either let me go or I kill your loved one.Man, i dont even like how Jerome died, it was corny. getting shot and trying to do the cliche suspensful thing like he didn’t really get hit

Those overly dramatic death scenes are corny and im not sure why hollywood hasn’t figured that out. Its much more impact when someone just gets their dome blown off like Leo in The Departed.

I dunno why but the scene of Jerome calling that addict and him getting high and zoning out had me rofl.Only sense Louie not giving up Buckley, is that Kane would have just killed her anyway
RIP Jerome. I definitely didn't see him making it out the season. Amin was always one of the best actors/most entertaining characters on the show.

This was my problem with how they killed Ruth in Ozark too. They had that whole drawn out speech with the slow motion bullet time and the dramatic fall and music…
