They should bring in Angela Bassett

Personally, I hope they don't bring in anybody that famous. For example, I loved The Wire, but whenever Cheese Wagstaff was on screen, I could only see Method Man. The actor was too famous to fully fit in with everybody else.
Seeing an A-List Black actress would be a little bit distracting, IMO.
That being said, I could see the woman who played DeLonda Brice on the Wire, Kimberly Elise, Charnelle Brown, or Vivica Foxx playing Veronique's mother.
