Only things is Melvin Butler didn’t bang(though associated with the ECC) and he was from South Central

Plus Sopranos did this repeatedly. Every season had a new character from back in the day or someone we never met. Richie Aprille. Ralphie. Phil. Butch. I’ll let the show cook.

Can't compare Manboy to Kane imo. Manboy/Skully was taking over a whole other section of Cali while Franklin was building up his stuff. And were bosses of their lil section too. It looks like Kane was right up under Leon and Franklin's noses.
Least sopranos made sense when they did that shyt and the characters didnt come in as top dogs(gunning for the top spots) from the offset like Kane has.
Phil - they showed this nikka just getting released from 10-15 years being locked up at the start of the season(Along with Tony B). Then they showed the nikka working his way up to number 2 of Johnnie sacs. Tony tried to lil boy Phil on many occasions.
Richie/Ralphie/Butch came in as soldiers/underlings. Richie was nobody. Ralphie was a worker who made a lot of money/Butch was a goon.

Kane got a gang of nikkas moving like the military. Doing synchronized hits.

Breh Kane is essentially the same plot line as Richie Aprille We had no idea who Richie was before and he was never mentioned. Richie had a dead brother, was an OG that was batsh*t crazy who went to prison, came home immediately causing hell on the street and had conflict with the young guy who used to be a lil nikka to him now being the King. The only difference is Kevin was killed by Franklin vs. Jackie dying for medical reasons.
