I swear to y’all, I really think Mel shot Franklin not to kill him. The way she was aiming was so deliberate like she was trying not to hit anything too crucial but still leave it up to chance if he did somehow die. Basically saying I think she gave him a chance to live.

Besides, she could’ve easily gave him a shot to the dome and spine and finished him but she aimed real carefully. I guess deep down in her twisted, cracked out heart she still love him.

Yup. Remember her pops had her in the range showing her how to shoot so she couldve ended his ass but she not a killer

Franklin didn't earn Manboys loyalty at all,Manboy just trying to keep his enemies close and get to Franklins connect. Manboys just one of them cats that play it cool while they plottin,play it cool but really have a evil streak.
Everything from that talk Franklin had with him in the beggining where Franklin says "he was the one who hit the teacher" while Manboy was pretending he stayed out of that during the food fight like Franklin did. Not to mention him almost killing Wanda for implying he had a little dikk. He's a calculated dude with a mean streak,he's basically a Franklin who is way farther removed from being kind hearted,and been in this street shyt for a long time.

I swear if another nikka mentions Franklin being paralyzed. This is a fukking TV show. He’s not paralyzed or anywhere close to death.

Reed is not hooked on coke. He’s done it at least once every season, and it’s had zero impact on his story.

I can tell watching Power has negatively impacted some of y’alls critical thinking. I’ve even seen several posters suggesting Franklins aunt would kill Mel

I'm going to be honest and say that at first I thought spinning camera scene was kind of showing off for the sake of showing off.

Then, I rewatched the episode last night. The way the whole episode is directed makes you feel like you're having a panic attack. When Franklin is talking to Manboy, he's trying to act calm but the camera is spinning around to show that he's nauseous inside. Then, when he's alone with Leon he's actually breaking down a little.

When he's in the car by himself and the volume gets loud, he's having a full panic attack.

My uncle didn't even graduate highschool and got a job with delta, worked his way up, retired with a full pension and made 50k+ a year for 30 years. A smart guy like franklin could have been eating well in the legit world, so why is he doing all this shyt. at this poison peddlers. A guy like leon had no shot but Franklin was almost out.
