Technically I doubt Freeway was the only one who the CIA was working with,and I doubt the family dynamics are the same. Franklin is not Rick Ross so really it isn't stealing. Inspired by true events might be a better way of putting it. But any story they made that dealt with the start of crack would have either had been about Rick Ross,or left out the CIA's involvement which I think is important that its finally being told that way. They could have made the start of crack happen in atlanta,but then people would complain its factually innacurate. Plus Freeway sold crack,so I don't exactly feel sorry for his story being stolen. His story is being used for something positive to put black people to work,and give nikkas something enjoyable to watch,thanks for giving something back Freeway
