I was discussing with someone in rl and I was like, "Did they just kill dude like that?"What was the point of the final scene with the police coming in and beating on bums (Franklin pops) ...trying to flush them out of a particular area?

My mans theory is this pushes his pops to be on some "fukk this bum shyt let's get money!" And he brings his Black Panther organization skills to Franklin's cause.

Technically I doubt Freeway was the only one who the CIA was working with,and I doubt the family dynamics are the same. Franklin is not Rick Ross so really it isn't stealing. Inspired by true events might be a better way of putting it. But any story they made that dealt with the start of crack would have either had been about Rick Ross,or left out the CIA's involvement which I think is important that its finally being told that way. They could have made the start of crack happen in atlanta,but then people would complain its factually innacurate. Plus Freeway sold crack,so I don't exactly feel sorry for his story being stolen
