Good show. Loved seeing Martin Short, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, etc. My favorite parts were the opener, the musical character medley and the Seinfeld Q&A. Loved seeing Piscopo back as Sinatra.
Chevy Chase has gotten so weird. He was acting really strange on the pre-show.
Funny that they kept picking on Lovitz as being dead when Lorne was the one in a skit who "saved" him from a fire on the set and he was the only cast member to return the next season.
Eddie Murphy was very disappointing. If he couldn't even be bothered to do something funny for SNL's 40th, then there's no hope for him. Was hoping for Gumby, Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood... something.

That's effed up too. They got Mike Meyers, Adam Sandler, fukkin Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Jim Carrey and Kanye West, Billy Crystal, Seinfeld, Chris Rock...ALL for love of the game.
OK, so I think Chris Kattan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Dennis Miller and Rob Schneider were the only main ones missing
And Eddie was named the most successful SNL star... 
Dennis Miller's a weirdo, I'm sure he's made some enemies, so I wouldn't expect him. Forgot all about Kattan and Schneider but I'm surprise Julia Louis-Dreyfus didn't appear. I think she was there though.

eddie is among the elite now. eddie left that show at the peak of his career and never had to go back and "promote" his movies by usin' that show because he's "eddie murphy". he's that great and talented. that alone just speaks volumes to eddie's greatness
