Convicted pedophiles get therapy in prison though so I'm not sure why that is the point that you guys are harping on.
Now the quality and success rates of that therapy are up for debate but its not like a pedophile gets convicted and then just chills in their special segregated block braiding one another's hair and watching Sesame Street.

we just pointing out that Simu did not nothing wrong. There’s nothing here to cancel.

I think the point is to get to a point of allowing them to get therapy for it before they touch a child without being burned at the stake for admitting they think about it. If they get the therapy in prison a child was victimized, if they get the therapy before and it keeps them from doing anything then no child was harmed.

I think that was the point being made but people have an emotional reaction when it comes to protecting children and don't always listen to the point being made. I think Simu was saying it's better to prevent the kids from being hurt than get revenge on the kids after the fact.

I think anyone that harms children deserve the most severe penalties we can give.

Someone who thinks about it and seeks help to prevent them from acting on those thoughts should be able able to get that help.

Yep.
Remember arguing this on this site a few years ago.
Have held the same opinion since I was 14 or 15 and first exposed to this debate on reddit lol
Either you support preventative care/therapy for all/active and consistent empathy or you're allowing the status quo to continue, just so you can type angry violent fantasies about pedo's that change nothing.
Like do people think they just pop out of nowhere? They were kids once too, why not get to the kid that knows their attractions are off while they silently struggle?
Twitter is just to outrage prone and cancel ready, that was probably his best opinion and if he ever apologizes for it he's lying because no one mentally regresses like that :yeshrug:

Pure action wise and choreography, agreed. Overall atmosphere, set up, and ending, that elevator scene was one of the best in the MCU before Infinity war and Endgame.

I don’t think you’re mistaken here in terms of weight and story impact. But the complexity of the bus fight is insanity, in terms of camera work and choreography. On a purely visual standpoint I can’t rank the elevator fight over it. And the elevator fight was my #1 prior to Infinity War and Endgame (Dr. Strange v Thanos, Iron Man v Thanos, Cap v Thanos)

I like the movie but i have an unpopular opinion on it. I was a little disappointed. The first Act was the strongest Act for me. After the bus and scaffold scene, it was downhill in my opinion. Still good but not as good. I wanted more of that hand to hand fighting and less CGI.

The best hand to hand fighting in 25 movies and they were pretty much done with it after the first 45 minutes. It was good, but I'm with you, coulda used more of that instead of cgi fest third act with the stereotypical large flying threat that needs to be stopped.

I was worried about Marvel's ability to pull off some high quality Kung Fu scenes, and these nikkas came through like a muthafukka. Definitely need to see more of that now that I know what they're capable of.

Doesn’t Marvel previz their movies years ahead of time?

Good fight choreography is months and months of training and weeks to film. Probably would be hard to let them do a pure martial arts movie

At the end of the day, threw and through, it's a Disney movie.

The whole fanstasy/chalk heavy CGI is important to them and should be expected from the big Mouse and co.
