"B b b b but Daniel Bryans not a draw. Bbbbb but Raw is the flagship show"

:mjlol:

... you realize SD’s ratings were actually down too and Raw still had higher viewership, right?

They’re down almost 500K viewers from last year when Bryan wasn’t ring active and you’re out here trying to :umad: at nikkas about his drawing power. :bryan:

The only thing that’s going to put more eyes on the product at this point is better and fresher booking, something that actually revolutionizes the mainstream business somehow (and that’s not realistically happening anytime soon). The concept of individual draws has been close to destroyed by WWE, in terms of their roster. All these guys are close to interchangeable.

Since there’s apparently too many words in the two paragraphs above for you, let me make it simpler for you:

SD averaged 2.135 million viewers this week.

It had 2.315 million last week.

The show from 6/27/2017 — the YTD show from last year — had 2.603 million (not a Live +7 number either, but day after, same as this).

That’s down across the board.

Raw is absolutely down too (I’m not part of this dumb ass show stan thing), but this week’s show had hours of 2.597 million, 2.679 million, and 2.734 million... all higher than 2.135 million.

Look breh it's about ideologies

If there's people readily willing to defend a garbage production like Raw while bashing a show like SD which is clearly better then it becomes a discussion about intelligence at that point

It's literally the same as people defending fukk boy Trump simply cause he's the "president"

You also don't seem to understand trends in tv ratings as well

Viewership trends apply to both shows, not just the one you like better. Fewer people are consuming both programs which are supposed to be tougher against streaming and DVR than normal scripted fare. Even Hulu streaming is down for both, YTD, last I saw. Live attendance for both still sucks.

Fact: The SD crew of anointed ones ain’t doing any better in any significant way than the “lesser” Raw roster. We’re not seeing SD beating Raw like they briefly did with the SD Six; we’re seeing two products eroding and WWE being lucky as fukk that they’re in a moment where anything that even semi holds up against streaming/DVR is being ridiculously overvalued so they can still eat better than they ever have despite it.

And :camby:with comparing someone caping for one shytty show over the other with the nazi in chief’s supporters, complicit or unabashed. You can’t even read two paragraphs correctly and you’re out here talking about stanning for SD over Raw being an intelligence issue and juelz.gif into ideologies to cover for it. :snoop:

WWE Smackdown Live viewership bombs - Pro Wrestling Dot Net

Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.013 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 2.135 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: A lousy number even when you consider the fact that this show aired the night before a holiday. Case in point, the show actually aired on July 4 last year and it delivered 2.329 million viewers.

How Was WWE SmackDown Viewership After Last Week's Record Low? - WrestlingInc.com

This week's WWE SmackDown, the final show before Extreme Rules with Team Hell No and The New Day vs. SAnitY and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers in a ten-man main event, drew 2.183 million viewers. This is up 8.4% from last week's 2.013 million viewers, which was a new low for 2018 and the second least-watched show since the blue brand moved to Tuesday nights.

SmackDown was #7 in viewership, for the third week in a row, for the night on cable, behind Hannity, Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Ingraham Angle, The Five, Special Report with Bret Baier and The Rachel Maddow Show. SmackDown was #1 in the 18-49 demographic this week.

Hannity topped the night on cable with 3.157 million viewers. The big draw on network TV last night was America's Got Talent on NBC at 8pm, which drew 11.551 million viewers.

In comparison, Monday's RAW drew 2.470 million viewers, down from last week's 2.707 million viewers and the lowest RAW viewership in history.

Both shows creeping below 2 million :picard:

Will probably drop there once basketball and the NFL return.

Does anyone have the Live +3 ratings RAW and SD have? At this point those numbers are more reliable than the "traditional" metrics :manny: I do wonder if these steady fall has any sort of floor though :patrice:

Both shows usually get about a .1 to .2 bump in the 18-49 demo over the Live +3 (see June 11-17, June 4-10).

They never come close to charting in the Live +7 gains, so those not watching live that watch are still watching in those first three days.

WWE Smackdown Live viewership improves - Pro Wrestling Dot Net

Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.340 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 2.293 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: A minor improvement for Smackdown, which has been good quality wise coming out of Extreme Rules. The July 25, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.535 million viewers.
