I bet WWE isn’t offering much money. I’m sure they believe in “exposure is your payment”. I get your point and if it fit the storyline of what I’m doing, I’d do it BUT if I’m rebranding myself like they are, I wouldn’t do it.

It's not even so much the exposure for them.

Mickie's already cemented and doesn't gain much from participating but she thought to turn it into something bigger than herself and would only agree if she could have the Knockouts title when she comes out. That's exposure for Impact Wrestling.

Guess who the Knockout tag team champions are...casuals see The IIconics & Mickie still wrestle and are champs at that and maybe try and find the corner of the house that gets AXS TV. It's just a missed opportunity.

i don't believe the iconics turned this down. that would be pretty stupid. even if it's a one off if they are gonna pay and fly you out why wouldn't you? unless your just emotional and bitter. gotta think big picture and how much it could help your personal brand even if it's just one night. they both have websites and shyt to promote now so makes no sense to turn this down just bad business.

Part of me still think they might show up. The E could of pushed that story out there because they knew leaks where imminent.
