There was actually a tweet that said Dunn and some other dude that's always working with him weren't even in production. Some guy whose name starts with an M. I'm sure somebody can find that tweet before I do.
Probably dirtsheet PWI but they went back on it

"To follow up on something discussed on the Royal Rumble post-game show with Mike Epsenhart for PWInsider Elite subscribers, Kevin Dunn was listed as the director of the Royal Rumble PPV last night. He and Michael Mansury go back and forth on directing major shows, but we are told Dunn was in the primary position last night. It's been passed around that I reported Dunn was not at the show, but that was never stated or reported."

News broke on Sunday night that WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and NXT star Matt Riddle had a verbal altercation backstage at the Royal Rumble before either man entered the 30-man match. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet originally put out the report, but little was known about what was said between the two at the time. But then Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT put out a new report on Tuesday morning that shed some light on the situation. According to one WWE official, Lesnar approached Riddle regarding the past comments "The Original Bro" had made about retiring Lesnar, something "The Beast" took offense to.

"Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in s— because you and I will never work together. Ever," Lesnar said. Riddle's response was reportedly calm and the altercation never got physical.

The two never crossed paths in the actual Rumble match, as Riddle didn't come out until after Drew McIntyre had already eliminated Lesnar. According to McCarthy that was always part of the plan, and Riddle didn't face any sort of punishment from the interaction.

Back in May 2019 Paul Heyman discussed Riddle calling out Lesnar, something the former UFC fighter had been doing since before he signed with WWE, in an interview with ComicBook.com.

"I think Matt Riddle is a very smart man because he knows Brock Lesnar's the biggest box office attraction in WWE and Matt Riddle is looking to pick a fight and make a lot of money with Brock Lesnar," he said.

"... Brock Lesnar is the biggest box office attraction that could walk between these two universes, not only today, but in history," he continued. "I applaud Matt Riddle and everyone else for calling out Brock Lesnar's name because if you called out anybody else's you're automatically starting at second best."

Imagine Brock telling someone to stop tagging him on social media like Brock is even on social media & it ain't jut Heyman running that account :heh:

Meltzer's goofy ass claimed Riddle getting eliminated like he did was them trying to punish him or teach him a lesson like they couldn't have just put anybody else in that spot if they really had any problems with him or anything he's doing. If they had a problem with what Riddle is doing they would tell him to stop doing it but Triple H & Heyman love him.

Sick of MAGA riddles trying to start shyt for clout because he feels like he should be a main eventer. Locker room and “legends” clearly don’t like him and character wise he’s Mojo with a couple years experience on the indies. If you believe so badly you should be pushed based on real life fighting ability alone go the fukk back to MMA, BRO.

I’m not gonna do all the digging on here rn but there’s been a lot of “pull yourself up by your boot straps” stuff and I thiiink his wife may be more open about it posting on social media but again it’s after 11pm local time man I can try to find receipts for you in the morning. I just know I remember definitely seeing folks mentioning the MAGA connection on here.

We not gonna talk about how Naomi went viral on black twitter with thousands of black girls talking about "who is this? I might just start watching wrestling again I'm obsessed with her"?

WWE incompetent out of touch racist asses have no idea how much more fans they could have if Bianca/Naomi/Sasha got the kind of push Becky/Charlotte/Shayna/Rhea is getting

Both Rumbles sucked. Women's was especially bad as it had multiple spots going to multiple retired women and a man for a completely unfunny "joke" very late into the match. The flow of the match was so janky, it felt both extremely rushed and way too long at the same time. Probably 70% of the field were in for less than a minute. Didn't feel like anything was set up for the future beyond the breakup of Sonya/Mandy which I'm going to assume has probably been going on for 8 months of the same angle every week on Smackdown. Was there some Beth/Charlotte angle heading into this or was Beth trying to get herself a match at Elimination Chamber? Is Sasha hurt again?

The men's was....the shyt with Brock went from lol to stupid and back to lol that I kind of wished it literally was Brock eliminating the entire roster over an hour. I guess Drew was a nice surprise in the normal sense of a Rumble winner, but he's still boring as shyt so who cares. All that time where Keith Lee was barely on TV for months and months and now he's a featured player on USA every week, getting the big push at Survivor Series, getting a showdown with Brock in a baseball stadium :salute: Edge's return is bizarre to me. 1. Just that he got cleared after all this time is pretty weird. 2. He's in better shape than at any point in his career after 2004 and he's like 45. Must be the TRT. Also he sucks and he came back for a WM feud with Orton? :russell: Rated AARPKO smh. AJ must be the first and only man in history to be injured by an Edge spear :francis:

Bray/Bryan was pretty good considering The Fiend is trash and it was a strap match, but the match was pretty brutal for the era, but the finish was weak. Mandible claw chokeslam works better in theory than practice since there can't really be much impact when you have your fingers in a dude's mouth :dame: Commentary did a trash job of selling how wild it was that Bray curled Bryan by his fukking teeth.

Skipped Cobin/Roman and Lacey/Bayley

Crowd didn't seem to care at all about Becky/Asuka until the finishing stretch. Every big spot was mistimed the entire match, too. Becky seems to be doing a Roddy Piper impression and it sucks.

In regard to stories that Brock Lesnar and Matt Riddle had a run-in at the Royal Rumble backstage, where Lesnar made it clear to Riddle (who constantly talks about retiring Lesnar on social media) that he will never work with Riddle, so he should knock it off, there’s absolutely truth to the story, to the point that earlier today, during a media class at the WWE Performance Center, there was a specific mention of not tweeting and calling out talents from Raw and Smackdown without their knowledge, which got a big laugh from the NXT talents in attendance.

Sasha was bigger than all the female stars back in 2016 but they sacrificed her to push Charlotte and this forum didnt give a damn really..and actually starting giving Charlotte props and acted like the Wrestling Forum white fans and bashed Sasha instead after doing the jobs even though she was clearly the superior worker. Now...everyone likes Sasha and her blue hair...lol. Go figure.

That was all over my TL and tonedeaf WWE probably will not realize that demographic at all.
