Official Royal Rumble 2020 Thread

I`m in the minority. I didn`t like this Royal Rumble that much. It`s not so much of the show being bad. It`s more so that the buildup leading up to this show has been so terrible, rushed, or both. So i barely was drawn in to most of the feuds. There weren`t that many surprises, and the outcome to most of these matches was predictable. Reigns was going to win until they changed it to Drew, last minute.




Sheamus vs Shorty G= Didn`t care for this feud. Of course Shaemus was going to win.
Andrade vs Humberto Carrillo= Good match. Don`t care for this feud either, but good match.
Roman Reigns vs King Corbin= Good match, I actually thought Reigns was gonna lose.I also don`t care for this feud either
Women`s Rumble=Some good moments, but we knew the outcome. The outcome almost ruins the whole thing for me. Santina
Bayley vs Lacey Evans=
The Fiend vs Daniel Bryan= Good match, but again. We knew Wyatt was taking this. Reigns bout to bury him @WM
Becky Lynch vs Asuka=Match was meh, but kinda picked up in the end.
Mens Rumble=Outside of Drew eliminating Brock, and Edge`s return. Brock eliminating 11 men was impressive, but boring.

Did anyone else feel the show was meh? Or am I just affected by the recent news?

Women’s Rumble was fun despite the winner. I didn’t give a damn about DB/Wyatt. Asuka/Becky was underwhelming, but decent for what it was. Men’s Rumble was jokes for the first half, and the second half was ok. A fresh winner is nice, but I don’t give a damn about Drew.

I thought the show overall was forgettable. I thought the men's rumbled was the best in probably 10 years. Brock blowing though the first half of the rumble on his own, Drew getting the knock out blow to setup mania. Edge coming out, then Seth and his stable coming out. it was one of the better rumbles in years.

edit: I hate Edge personally, but since some of yall like him i'll give him that.

Another thing i didn`t like about both Rumbles was there were many superstars who got eliminated too quick\soon. Some superstars who should`ve been in the Rumble wasn`t in it.
