The thing with the Bella's is the only reason WWE is rewriting history pretending they were the leaders of the women's movement (or the main centerpieces) is because Nikki is with Cena and they're popular with Total Divas. Plain and simple.

Otherwise they would be considered just like a Kelly Kelly or Michelle McCool and that is NOT knock or bad thing because everyone played a part. But to paint this false narrative that they were like Trish, Lita, etc. is just downright absurd.

Almost as bad as when WWE rewrites history pretending DX was bigger and more influential than the NWO.

What I don't understand is if Ronda wasn't in the Rumble match then why have her come out then to steal Auska's moment as being the first woman's royal rumble winner? Why not end the Rumble with Auska pointing at the Wrestlemania sign, and then the next night on raw do the segment with Auska standing there with Alexa and Charlotte then have Ronda come out.

nikka, I don't be watching wrestling.

I was a fan as a kid and saw that Royal Rumble was on tonight.

Nothing else really on TV. (Don't really fukk with the Grammy's)

So, I hit up First Row and saw it was the Women's Royal Rumble.

I turned it off before their match was over and intended to turn it back on for the Men's Royal Rumble.

I just thought that the Men's Royal Rumble would be the last event like it was back in the day.

You're saying she didn't steal Asuka's shine but answer me this: Is the conversation right now about Asuka being the first ever female RR winner, or is the conversation about Ronda?

Cause I don't know what you see on your Twitter feed and on other forums but EYE see Ronda dominating the conversation. It's either people saying she hijacked Asuka's moment, or people excited she's there or people wishing she'd never shown up. EYE dont see a lot of talk about Asuka's performance or who she's picking or her making history. The conversation is centered on Ronda.And if that's who we're left talking about and wondering about going into tomorrow's RAW...that seems to me like she's the one in the spotlight.

I looked at it as something that can be used when they eventually feud. Keep them apart until Survivor Series while they dominant Raw and Smackdown. Asuka slapping Ronda's hand away was the selling point

The reason they're doing it is even fukking pettier. It's literally because AJ Lee dipped on them.

Had that not happened and had Paige not languished after AJ left, they would've been given their props because they were the focus for the #givedivasachance movement for like 2 weeks. Nikki/Brie better count their lucky stars that AJ Lee leaving gave them room to step in and rewrite history. Nikki became longest reigning WWE Diva to erase AJ Lee from holding that record.

AJ Lee has never been one to bite her tongue which is the one thing that I really loved about her. I believe that had she stayed she would've given the real deserving ladies their props (as she did before) and her mouth wouldn't have let Stephanie take over the movement and set herself up as the savior of womens wrestling in the way that she had. She wasn't scared of Stephanie

- Let Asuka make her choice and she picks Alexa
- Ronda comes out and starts beating the shyt out of all of them knocking Alexa out cold
- Carmella's music hits while Ronda is still throwing down with Charlotte and Asuka outside the ring.
- Carmella swerves the crowd by cashing in on Alexa and immediately runs out through the crowd.

That sets up Asuka vs Carmella and Charlotte vs Ronda.

Raw gains Carmella, Smackdown gains Ronda.

WWE kinda booked themselves into a corner w Asuka's streak, but then you cant have Ronda debut and not win, so they went with this. The execution was awkward but its kind of the best of both worlds. Rousey is a mainstream star so her signing to WWE is gonna be big news, but I still see plenty of people talking about Asuka and WWE MAKING HISTORY again with two Japanese wrestlers winning the two Rumbles and "maineventing" Mania
