Again, it's one night. Next year they can start worrying about that. For right now, their concern is establishing the women's rumble as a big deal. It's also gotten far more promo than the men's this year.

For 2018, it's the rumble they care about more, so it's the one that closes. It's really that simple. I'm sure 2019, things will be back to normal.

Yea you make a good point now that I think about it you had to make that the main event to truly put it over.

I mean...they used every woman on the main roster that was healthy with the exception of Alexa & Charlotte. Maybe they could've used a couple more NXT girls, but this was kind of unavoidable.

If they wanna continue doing a Rumble for the women every year (which I assume they do) they're either gonna have to add more girls to the roster than they have now, or reduce the number to like 20. Cause they're not gonna be able to get away with having part-timers taking up 1/3 of the spots every year

Yea I think with all the women they hired from the mae young classic, by next year they should be able to call up the remaining nxt women for the rumble and get the women’s division up to 15 each show.
