ROH's problem isn't their New Japan relationship because without it, they'd be a dead product.
Their problem is creating new stars. Outside of Lethal, Jay, Kyle, and Cole they don't have much to show for the last 2 years. Now, in ROH's defense, guys like Bennett, ACH, Rush, Cedric aren't game changing stars that they need so it's weird why people harp on these departures so much. They are doing a fine job with Castle though and I really hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle because he could be a key piece in the 2017 ROH landscape.
Along with creating new stars, it doesn't help that the indy landscape is somewhat dried up in terms of stars that'll make a difference. It'll never happen, but contracting a guy like Scrull would be huge for ROH going into 2017.

Their product would be. New Japan and CMLL give ROH shows an incredible boost in terms of quality. Without them, they're basically Evolve with better production values.
Nah, thats BS i watch the VODs all the time and thats not the case
