It's gonna take time and practice. It took me forever to get my make up game right. Just buy less expensive products like NYX before you jump in brands like M.A.C or you'll waste a lot of money.

Make up courters are good for help with foundation but they try to sell you the farm.

oil washing feels great but causes me acne. only argan oil doesn't have that effect on my skin but it's way too expensive for oil washing

i started using betonite clay+acv after my grapeseed oil face washing

skin feels SO smooth and no acne.

Other than looking for product lines, I just dive right in and use my face as a canvas, I love experimenting. Tonight I mixed a line-ish green for my kids and a real for my brow bone, I like how it came out! I’m gonna hit you up with my page (shameless plug).

Yo, so my cousin is having a baby shower when she just had a baby like two years ago. I’m torn because one it def came out of nowhere and two she was spinning it like she was gonna marry her dude they were gonna get a house (she needs the space frfr) and all this jazz. Three, there’s a sect of my fam who goes “I don’t support that” which is kind of harsh but they’re older and old-school. I don’t support it either and I’m kind of annoyed she put on her Instagram invite cash only gifts, like tf? I don’t think I’m gonna go, tired of baby showers but I don’t want this to become a whole thing where if she does get married she skips me for the wedding off the strength.


Anyway how do you be an adult and say congrats but I’m not really feeling this in a way that isn’t acting like I’m being paternalistic nor like she’s asking me to raise her baby?

I think I would, she came to my grandpa's funeral and I appreciated it. The thing is, she isn't petty but she's super dodgy- I found out she was preg from looking at her IG story (I was told but I try not to be catty like that) and I had reached out to her numerous times prior to learning about it. I also wanted her daughter to do my hair- so it's a bunch of little shyt that has me like, has she been dodging me and maybe this is my chance to see what's good at the shower (somewhat and not in a hostile way) or just let it go and not attend.
