shyt, you need a routine whether on your period or not.If you are on your cycle and don't have a feminine hygiene routine you need to stay home. Like seriously call into work if you can't handle your responsibilities.

I want to buy some silk amino acids. It's kind of expensive but it would last forever! I want to use it in my hair care products. I already make my own rose water, body moisturizer, and hair pomadeI went to the school of youtube, google and blogs. But yes it is pretty freaking awesome. Im kinda obsessed. I get more excited at the thought of purchasing supplies for my natural beauty products then buying clothes sometimes. But you save so much money especially considering like food all the natural things are way more expensive then all the chemical filled crap. I have skin allergies and didn't know till i was older. I got tires of spending money at the dermatologists and on prescriptions products that id have to use all the time to keep my issues at bay while also thinning out my skin.
The stuff that i make had worked so much better in helping me out. Just this past month i added tea tree oil to my deep conditioner that i make with aloe juice and different oils. Its been 3 weeks since i washed my hair and no flakes and my hair still smells kinda minty.
Anyway dont get me started on my love pf oils and all things natural i can go on and on and i have to work.
That's what's up. I feel like, a child shouldn't be worried about if they got the latest J's or whatever in style and in season. Of course, its a time and a place for everything. Nothing wrong with looking good and feeling good. But $100 of dollars on clothes and shoes, for one pair of Jordans or something else nawMy neighbor (black woman) and I were talking about this a couple of months ago. We live in an predominately white area and there is hardly any fukks given about what children wear to school. I'm talm bout them payless, walmart hook-ups for real. Although we may not agree with the school's curriculum in terms of it not focusing on African American issues, there is peace in knowing the school is an environment for learning and not a fashion show.
I know bout shopping at k Mart, wool worth, Marshall, Kessler and putting stuff on lay away real talk. We wasn't dead broke, we always had everything we needed you feel me. Never had to go without. But I definitely know what its like going to the goodwill and salvation army and church drives. I was the opposite when I got to middle school, cause my Folks said if I want those nikes, and timbs, and all that. Then work for, so I did. Course id get like something for school like suppliers and stuff. But It didn't bother me, seeing what other people dressed like. I had friends that wore the k swiss and other type tennis shoes you'd cop at the outlet.I went to Catholic school 1st-5th so I had to wear a uniform, when moved to public school, I actually hated not wearing a uniform because of the pressures of other kids. For one I was fat and back then "husky" clothing was the WORST, secondly I was kind of poor so while I never wore non name brand shoes, I definitely had the generic Nikes that you find in stores like Ross or TJ Maxx for the low.
The areas I'm looking to purchase a house in have very good public school systems. My daughter will at least finish elementary at a public school. I would love to get her into a private school for middle and perhaps a boarding school for high school. I would love if she could do her Junior and Senior years of high school abroad. Ideally, I would like small group homeschooling using the SETCLAE curriculum.
ExactlyTo me uniforms take the pressure off of children to have what the other kids have. You don't have to keep up with trends spending hundreds of dollars in clothes they can't wear next year because they are "out of style."
I hear Christian based charter school can be expensive, but I feel it's worth it. Did you wear uniforms in school Paradise? My cousins daughters go to a Christian based charter school in Detroit. They wear uniforms and they look sooooooooo sweet in their little rompers.

Yeah I feel you, I have the same formula as well. Though not as detailed like you. Like public and private school for the interaction with other kids, and home school for the basic stuff. I was thinking bout boarding school as well. Idk how I feel about going to school year round. Haven't done my research yet.
And I checked out the site, for S.E.T.C.L.A.E, do you know anyone that has tried it before?
Yes, ive read so many good things about it. Sadly it is expensive and i havent had the urge to shell out the cash for it just yet. Im gonna see if someone can get it for me as a Christmas gift or something.I want to buy some silk amino acids. It's kind of expensive but it would last forever! Well where they are its free, but you are chosen to go there. All you have to do is purchase the uniforms
