Same struggle but I think I'm getting better with managing my mane so I just may keep it.

whats your routine like?
I keep it simple. I mostly wear buns.
I spritz my hair morning and night (whenever I remember to)
Wash it once every 2-4 weeks, when my scalp gets itchy and dirty. Sometimes I use ACV/shampoo sometimes I use Terressential's mud wash. I tend to use whatever is on hand.

I co wash when my hair feels dry and brittle. I try to do it every 2 weeks. Sometimes, I do a overnight deep condition with coconut oil or one of my shea moisture conditioners. I just tie a plastic bag over my head and throw a skully hat over it, then go to sleep.

I did this:

But apparently I spend too much time in the shower when I do that. So sometimes I just wash it in 2-4 sections.

I don't know if that helped :yeshrug: I don't stick to a strict schedule.

What did help tho is adding aloe Vera juice to my water spritz.
Keeping my hair stretched, cuts down on knots and tangling.
And LOTS of coconut oil to detangle.

how do you normally style it? :ohhh:
Bun or ponytail with a banana clip. I just recently wore it down.

I started with 10 wet twists; did a twist out the next day. Then at night I just put it in 2 ponytails and added another ponytail holder at the end of the ponytail. (Like how you tie off a braid)

Then after a couple of days, I retwisted it doing a flat twist for my bangs and four twists with the rest. Then I just slept with a bonnet, it kept the shape of my hair so I could just take it off in the morning and fluff. Today I just had it in a bun at work. I just took it out the bun before the pics.
