If you want to get her something "small" and that's a typical sign of affection go for flowers (if she likes that kind of thing). It's corny but it's not really out of the ordinary and it's not really a gift but moreso a token of affection. If it's her birthday you could do a card and a small gift card...like $10 at 7-11 or subway or something. If you for sure want to get her a random gift, like wrap it up in a box with bow, then like Juicy said wait until later.

I was going buy her a bracelet and a small cooler... She told me her food keeps coming up "missing" at work so the cooler is for that; the bracelet is just to let her know I appreciate her
Yeah it's too soon for the appreciation bracelet. You may not even like her in a few months ( I hope you still do). If so, then buy it. I think the cooler is a thoughtful idea but only if it's not too expensive.
