I don't think it is corny, I don't know for a first date though. But it is different and I would be impressed by the effort. I guess it depends on the woman. Do you know her well?

No, I don't know her well. We were only texting each other, until I called her on accident last night.
I might be getting ahead of myself, because I'm so surprised at how intelligent she is. She's very attractive, so I had her in the - wait for the best time to try her for sex and live with her saying yes or no - pile; when the whole time she's waaay smarter than me, and funny on top of that. I'm just trying to set myself apart from the many suitors I know she has to have. If she's not crazy, or nasty, she's the shyt.
Nah, it's only $15 per person and the meal would be about $30 for both of us, so $60 in total.

This is hard. I am glad I am a female. I would think, the way you* described her she would enjoy doing something different and fun. Since it is only 15 why not

I agree with all of this. It's not expensive but it seems more like a valentines or anniversary date rather than a first one.
I always think the first date should be cheap...like $10. A nice ice cream or coffee shop if she's cool she won't mind.

I don't know, it happens in the movies. They go on these awesome first dates...then they fall in love and get married.

Look ladies, I have a gf but I don't like her. She's nice and everything but very boring. The only reason I'm still with her is because she doesn't make me pay rent or any bills; shyt I can't even remember the last time I bought food or toilet paper. Because of this wonderful young lady, I've been able to get back on my feet after hard times. Which is why I'm going to feel really bad when I leave in the middle of the night sometime this year, but it is going to be best for both of us.
If things work out with this new young lady, I might be moving out sooner than later. You two give solid advice, I'll be @ing you in the future if I run into any more hurdles with this situation.
