Wouldn't your hair be in a more fragile state after you pick out the locs? That might not be a good idea if the winter season in your area is harsh.

It is :scusthov: however, it will be in a fragile state anyway.

I want some nice growth by summer. I love the big loose hair look :noah:

I figured the loose natural hair regime from Dec-June would be better than Mar-June.

Just to add on to this brehettes, should I wait until the end of winter to take them down? Then again, if I start by say next month perhaps I can get a good regime going by next summer and more time for my hair to heal.

What ya'll think?

I don't think when you decide to start this process will make much of a difference, but I will say that starting in the winter is a good idea. Not only can you develop a good regimen, but you can use this time to see what hairstyles you prefer. Your cute new styles will suit well in the summer.

Right now, I am growing out a pixie cut, so I can get braids and go on my third :pachaha: natural hair journey. Hopefully, I can get braids by January.

I say do it in the winter and have it out by summer.

I don't talk to her, I didn't tell her anything. That's the thing :bryan:
I'm not being sensitive, I'm just confused because this is out of nowhere. I rarely tell my best friends who I like let alone telling some random chick I haven't spoken to in years. I think the guy I like mentioned that he liked me and then all this shyt happened :shaq2:
Tell me how this girl is flirting with a guy she knows I like :beli: then she calls me a bytch :beli:
She should take care of her eating disorder and her kid instead of worrying about purposely flirting with the guy. She makes me sick and she gets a pass from my friends because she has a big ass and t*ts.

Ugh, she seriously needs help.

Season 3: Episode 8

This week's episode was enjoyable, but a lot of the 'twists' I saw coming.

Starting with Congresswoman Josie being burglarized. In an attempt to play the game and win, I felt that Candy was going to overstep her boundaries. I also wasn't surprised that her and Harrison were sleeping together. When he confronted her the sexual tension was obvious.

I don't mind Lisa Kudrow in general, but I was not a fan of her on the show so I'm glad that she has been written out.

Cyrus...

What a mess he's gotten himself into. Last week when he and Mellie found out that Sally's husband was on the down low, I knew that he was going to find a way to pimp out James.

There's a tiny part of me that feels bad for James, because he does love Cyrus and didn't want to go through with it, but at the end of the day he did cheat.

Cyrus telling Mellie that 'my husband is not (like) your husband' was funny and for a moment truthful. However, as we all know, even a dog will leave if you kick it enough times. Again, not excusing James behavior because he made a conscious choice to stray.

So Fitz built him and Olivia a home in Vermont...

On another note, can someone shoot Jake or at the least tell him to speak only when spoken to? My goodness, he was giving me Chip (Beauty and the Beast) vibes- putting in his two cents when ain't nobody asked his opinion.

I don't know what to make of Quinn. On one hand I feel bad and on the other it's like well you were doing too damn much. Shame that Huck acknowledged her efforts so late. Even worse is that her character was made to be needy as oppose to just wanting the acknowledgement. Meh.

Olivia's mom...

That whole scene of her eating her own wrists was on some Hannibal Lecter type of level and I was not a fan. I'm not into gore. I damn near threw up, but I pulled myself together so I could finish the episode.

I found Rowan and Maya looking at the newspaper clippings of young(er) Olivia to be sweet. In a way I felt like her escaping the prison the way that she did to be ridiculous, but thinking a bit more about it, she definitely seems to be someone with a dark past that lends itself to self defense.

All in all, good show. Can't wait to watch what's to come.
