The brother Ali Banat from the "gifted with cancer" video that went viral a few years ago has recently passed away :mjcry:

Long story short, he was a young, wealthy breh with a successful business in Australia who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He decided to invest all of his wealth in charitable work as well as Dawah :wow:

Allah gave him blessing of dying in this holy month. Doctors said he only had 6 months, but he lived for a few years.

Love
This will be my first Ramadan and I am so excited! I eotk in office full of free snacks and catered lunches...will be hard, but trusting God in those difficult moments. Probably wont go to my megaformer and cardio sessions. I get VERY hungry afterwards. Its not dark til about 8PM here in Chicago now except for the rainy days...

May god give him the highest place in heaven and may we all learn from his example while on earth.

How y'all doing brehs and brehettes?

If you're like me, you started off well and then had a dip after the first week. You became lazy and complacent and lost focus:mjcry:

But don't worry, the last 10 days are almost upon us and they are the most blessed. :blessed:

The Prophet pbuh said (I'm paraphrasing) that the most important part of any deed is it's ending. So even if we started off sloppy, we can still finish strong. :wow:
