Most people won't unless their monitor is 4k as well. Your phone is but you ain't seeing that difference on a small screen. Pull up youtube on your tv app

Has anybody ps direct order shipped yet, I haven't got an email saying my preorder shipped yet. I thought units would be getting shipped out by now or do they do overnight shipping for consoles?

No, I'm the same as you and this is the first time I pre-ordered from PS Direct. I found out that many people said Sony Direct always keeps saying "Preparing to ship" until the day before release. That's when you get updated and emailed.

And it gets hit by YouTube’s compression. You basically gotta wait for DF to upload high bit rate videos, if you want to see it on your phone
