I think the leak is fake or somewhat fake the scene with tommy and tasha didnt match up to what I remember line wise but I could be wrong. But I mean the general ending is what everyone expected for months now

There’s legit no momentum or hype for this series finale whatsoever.
A few reasons:
-The leak.
-The release date of February 9. Had the finale come out last month, there would have been more buzz. Now, it feels like the show is already over even though it technically isn't.
-The obviousness of Tariq being the killer, so the intrigue is lost.

Honestly, they should have scrapped the whole "episode from each character's perspective" concept, or at least reworked it so all the suspects would get their screentime but each episode still adds something to the story. The Paz and Tate episodes were unnecessary in the long run. They didn't really advance anything. They only needed these three episodes:

"Still Dre"
The end of Dre's character arc. He was one of the most important characters on the show and he had been around since season two, so framing a story around him made sense. We see his mother for the first time, see his relationship with his girlfriend/mother of his daughter, all his interactions with other characters, 2-Bit and Spanky's plot, and we find out that Ghost is dead.

"It's All Your Fault"
The end of Tommy's character arc. We also see Elisa Marie make a comeback and how her reappearance ends up affecting the episode's plot. We get more clues that point to Tariq being the killer, and we see Tommy and Ghost's friendship restored in the end, after an entire season of them feuding with each other.

"Exactly How We Planned"
I haven't seen anything from this episode except for the scene where Tariq kills Ghost, but I'll just say that they can keep this as is since it's the series finale.
They killed this shyt with these last 5 episodes like we didn't already know who killed Ghost. Like I get the whole different perspective episodes but when you do it like that it makes it obvious when the last episode is based on Tariq and Tasha's point of view:heh:

This show insults the audience's intelligence

I don’t know if it was because of budgetary issues or what not, but the writers became lazy (even more than previous seasons) and stripped the show of what made it successful in the first place. The great music played on the show, the atmosphere from Club Truth and other aspects of the show disappeared this season. It was like they didn’t have a true ideas of what they wanted to do so they threw shyt at the wall without it making any sense whatsoever.

I read on Reddit a few days ago that someone wrote that if the writing were more consistent, then Ghost would became more of a Simon Stern figure than a Lt. Governor which I totally agree it. The timeline issues totally didn’t help with that either as he all of sudden became a politician in a matter of days?weeks?
Yeah, they definitely took away certain aspects of the show that gave it a reason to exist. I feel like at some point (maybe last season), the writing became more inconsistent and the path that Ghost was on originally kept changing repeatedly. There was a time where Truth actually mattered. It was straightforward too: Ghost is trying to get his nightclub going, but he still has one foot in the streets. By season three, he already had Truth Miami, and he was making deals to get Truth Vegas and Truth Dubai. Then Angela arrested him and the direction of the show shifted.

I like season four, but I think that's when the show started changing from what it was before. Truth no longer mattered after Ghost was arrested and they introduced Tate. Suddenly, all Ghost cared about was the Queens Child Project. This went on for literally two seasons until he decided to become a politician. Tariq became a more important character to the detriment of everything else. And they finally pulled the trigger on Dre becoming the bad guy, but they didn't follow it up well enough in season five.

If you look back at season four, the main characters are all in a good place until Raina gets killed. Ghost was exonerated and started working on the QCP. Tasha fell for Silver and was making plans to divorce Ghost so she could be with him, but their relationship was still more positive than it was this season. Tommy found his father, and was starting to do business in other cities and with the Jimenez Cartel. Angela got a big promotion at work. It felt like the characters were growing up and moving on to better positions in life.

But because they started investing in Tariq long-term, Raina was killed, and whatever growth the characters were getting was stunted for good in seasons five and six. :manny:
Yeah they changed what actually made the show work. I wanted Ghost to become a Stern type figure as well. Truth became Ghost's personal bar and a place to hold his political events. The atmosphere made the show what it was then it just became about the characters too much.

Trash trash and more trash. fukk 50 and fukk a spinoff. fukk everyone involved in the spinoffs. fukk the power cinematic universe as a staff a record label and a crew

That fakkit Tariq deserves worse. If you knew that y’all wanted this shyt to continue with that bytch nikka then why make him suck a unlikable character? Why spend the whole final two seasons making him and everyone but Tommy so unlikable? Why I’m the fukk would I want to watch them fukk nikkas in a show let alone a leading role. They set the actor that play Tariq up for failure. This has to be the dumbest lead in for a new spinoff ever. This season took this show down a few notches for me, this was a million times worse than the GOT finale.

yea i checked the production credits for that show and it didn't list him on it so idk what's up with that

Tommy (TV Series 2020– ) - Full Cast & Crew - IMDb

It is strange though that it's based off a detective from NY who's headed to Cali and that's where Tommy is headed :mindblown:

"A former high-ranking NYPD officer becomes the first female Chief of Police in Los Angeles."

Tommy (TV Series 2020– ) - IMDb

Obviously Proctor's daughter grows up and takes on the nickname of Tommy while walking on the side of the law
