To Raq's credit she's in the game. She can't have ppl around she can't trust. Period point blank. Simp showed that he'll keep a secret from her. Simp showed that he can be played by her green ass son. She kinda put on front street when they started dealing with each other that she don't play when it come to her son. I really can't fault her for wanting loyalty 100% of the time.
To the fellas mad saying Simp did nothing wrong...put yourself in it, then put the shoe on the other foot.

Kanan was just taken to the precinct over nothing. He didn't get locked up. He don't have any charges, he ain't get injured or shot, it was just an overzealous nikka that brought him in. Symphony already said he would tell his mama if she brought it up. Her overreaction was unwarranted. And yeah if Symphony had a daughter Raq would be keeping secrets too, even more so because that's what females do. She already showed she would keep her own secrets like when Jukebox was talking to her about being in a relationship and not wanting her pops to know.

If you don't want a nikka to bond with your son, don't get in a relationship and don't send your son to his classes. Everything ain't gonna be to your liking. If Symphony and Kanan was beefing that would have been a problem too. Even when Symphony said he understood Kanan's initial reaction when they first met she still snapped on him. Symphony can't win no matter what he does.

But being on some "do you know what I can do to you?" shyt over something like that is a big enough red flag, but we know dude ain't gonna walk away so it is what it is.
