2 shows in again not that impressed. Liked this one maybe a smidget better than the 1st one but it still doesn't captivate me
The jukebox lgbtq thing , is forced unnecessary and corny. The whole thing about the shirt at the store was just stupid and speaks to how out of place the story line is.
I do like the dynamic between raq and kanan to be honest that's about the only thing that interests me about the show.
I still don't get the good vibes of the 90s from this show.
And the singing at the end was just cringy and corny. I guess I value the attempt to be different and artistic but come the fukk on smh

Kind of feels like the cliche Drug Dealer show except we already know how this one ends. I'll still probably end up finishing it at some point but it just feels Power in the 90s with less compelling characters although I do like Kanans mom and Joey badass character.
Not to mention they doing BMF right after this, just feels like poor timing to have a drug dealing in the 90s show rolling right into another drug dealing in the 90s show

But I agree I like alot don't mind a good drug dealing gangster show but it has to be creative and innovative. This one just feels forced and out of place. Doesn't feel authentic like how snowfall feels. It still has time to grow though could get better I do have interest in the dwiz angle and how kanan going to carry that.

kanan angry gets a gun and presses jukebox dad, jukebox dad tells him that his mom was behind it the streets needed blood
