Still...not seeing his soft ass getting to the point where OG Kanan was in Power. Now that I think of...OG Kanan wasn't some mastermind, just a ruthless killa. So it's possible.

I don't get where people say "how could this Kanan end up bein like the one in Power"... man you'll be surprised how much a person will change in 20+ years... there's a lot of MFs in their 30s and 40s that had a better head on their shoulders as kids than they do now. They either went thru or did a bunch of bullshyt that just turned them either heartless, stupid, or drugged out as fukk... you woulda never seen it in em as kids/teens.

That's the whole point of showing Kanan and Juke as regular teenagers in the beginning. Depending how many seasons the show goes, we get to see em go from that to some dangerous sociopaths. I like the character development as opposed to just seein them as hardened criminals from the get-go, or seein them become that overnight.

Dude is a bozo…looks like a bozo too

Worse than Tariq :scust:

How this barely off the porch fukk up ass Nikka mad at Famous for being a studio gangsta and rapping about “his” life who the fukk he think he is can’t even cook crack properly :mjlol:

Matter of fact he ain’t no street nikka period he’s even worse than a studio gangsta
At least Tariq was smart. Tariq got in over his head, was trying to involve himself in a game he wasn’t (initially) built for, and made a lot of mistakes and fukked things up, but he wasn’t dumb. Kanaan is kinda dumb.

I mean... Kanan wasn't exactly the smartest mf on Power either. He was ruthless and murderous, but he wasn't a brain. Even Ghost's whole reason for sendin him to jail was because Ghost always wanted to go legit and Kanan being Kanan was gonna ruin his chances of doin that. Even the whole shyt with Tariq was Juke's idea, Kanan just wanted to get back to NY and kill Ghost. He sent his own son on a failed dummy mission just like Raq did with Scrap. He's just a reckless timebomb who probably gets more vicious as the show goes on, but not much smarter. :yeshrug:

Oh yeah I know. There was never anything super strategic about Kanaan, essentially just a high level fearless goon with a little bit of smarts and some magic lean.

These power universe seasons been making me more and more :mindblown: at all the characters hating on Ghost.

He was legit right on everything and had the right goals. If everyone played their role he'd have risen from the streets to black excellence.

Only mistake he made was wifing Tasha. Bish was just :what: in every aspect. If he had patience he could have had supercop angie or the high level politician dime piece.

Ghost was right in picking Tasha, she was invaluable for him. The issue was he didn’t know that she was just a temporary vehicle and once he got to one spot he was gonna need a new one. He didn’t realize that until it was too late. Tasha was who he needed to get to the top of the game but after that he was gonna need someone else to build the next level.

:francis:Marvin ain't try to cross D'Angelo Barksdale losing the supplier in the process, Marvin ain't send Scrap on that bullshyt dummy mission to try to cross Unique getting the teams best soldier in the process fukked up, Marvin ain't teach Kanan how to cook. Marvin ain't the brightest light in the room but based on how we have seen Raq move she ain't too far ahead of him :yeshrug:
Marvin gave Kanan coke. Marvin fukked up moving the stash. Marvin didn't instruct his crew to not take orders from anyone but him. Nevermind Kanan fukked everything up.

The whole organization is dysfunctional.

This. Tasha just lacked perspective and didn’t grow mentally as far as being in accordance with Ghosts future endeavors (This is what made Angela and the other lady that was like his political advisor-strategist appealing. They appeared to be more supportive). She really expected Ghost to keep dealing until he can’t deal no more :mjlol:. Over the years, that is just inexcusable for a mother of three to still have that mindset. Ghost even broke it down to her that it’s an expiration date and walls going to come closing in sooner than later as long as he remains in the game. But, Tasha was not trying to hear that because Ghost was good at what he does :snoop:
