This show is ridiculous, Tariq gets bail and instantly starts telling anyone he talks to that he did kill his professor

Dude even told that former prosecutor and there is no privilege

everyone knows he killed the professor

Tariq could easily take the deal and have yasmeen and his grandma put in witness protection
