It’s more Power seasons 5 & 6 writing wise, it’s pretty awful from a logic point of view, but...for the most part it’s still entertaining, it has some awful sub plots but a few of the new characters are interesting enough, last weeks episodes kicked things up a good bit ready for fukkery overload for the last few weeks of the season

I think this shows biggest achievement so far is that they made Tariq somewhat likeable, but I’m not sure he actually is or it’s just everybody else is slightly more annoying than him since he no longer has more interesting and likeable people like Ghost or Tommy around

I'm hoping that this season of Tariq rehashing all of Ghost's mistakes is actually gonna lead to some real growth and far more interesting problems. I don't need 6 seasons of Tariq replaying all 6 seasons of Ghost. :francis:

I just looked at the ratings and yeah they have falling WAY off. This last episode did like 400k viewers. Power averaged like 1.1 million viewers in season 1 - 5. I expect the Kanan spin off to do worst than this one. Tommy is the only one who can carry a show and bring the original fans back. They have to regain the interest of those 700k people who stopped watching.
Prob desperation. Power used to average over a million viewers per ep. This show hasn’t even had 1 episode hit a Milly.

by all estimates they’ve lost atleast half their viewers

This is false, Starz was removed from the free package on Comcast so the live ratings would off course suffer because Comcast is the biggest cable company but you have to realize most people watch this on the Starz App now, they don't care about a live rating it's all about Subs. The show is still doing 7-8 million viewers per episode.
