if you get a good sample loop to layer with this that doesn't sound so incredibly distorted and not slightly off time, this sample you got here could work a lot better. I def see the potential bro. I would recommend digging through al green, pendergrass, even some slower otis redding tracks (i prolly wouldnt recommend any live tracks though). Find some 4 bar loops w/o vocals that are in the same key that you could layer.
Sample layering is a practice that is becoming lost in hip hop but it can give a track so much more depth.

Was digging it as soon as i heard the sample, drums match well. Ill chk with my monitors later too see if thiers a difference. Edit just listened with my headphones, this is smooth brah.

I got influenced by @SymbolicOne09 on this beat.
My beats are usually around 90 BPM with simple boom-bap patterns but i found out you can do totally different more complex drumpatterns around 70 BPM.
