To me, it was entertaining but easily the worst season. You can't just have the show revolve around Ben losing his shyt.

its a great show and well written, still entertaining. but this season was just too dark and gloomy for me. thats what separates a show like this from Breaking Bad. that shyt was dark as fukk too but it just had such so many comedic moments to periodically lift your spirits. Ozark had some moments like that in the first two seasons but this season it was gloom all the way. I mean there was nothing cheerful in this season at all that I can recall except Ruth finding love and we see how that turned out.

Jonah not getting no play from the chick. no being able to help the family with his genius talents.
Wyatt and Darlene :scust:
the Therapist
Charlotte despite being older being insignificant
KC "mob" being a bunch of herbs
Wendy doing the Avon move
Helen pretty much being a dummy in the end

but mostly, I expected more out of Tom Pelphrey who is an excellent actor and Joseph Sikora characters. When I saw their first appearances I was like :mjlit:

they gave good performances but their characters werent complex and didnt serve much of a purpose except to expose how wack KC mob was and to see what limits Wendy would go to.

to top it off they are enslaved to a cartel boss who is getting getting his ass handed to him and getting softer by the minute

I'm talking about Jonah's drone footage, breh. Marty and Wendy proved themselves to Navarro by shutting down the Lagunas. Helen looked redundant after that.
Ah yes.

Even tho that was Ben's idea to follow Ruth with the drone. It all worked out in the end. But what i fear for season 4 is that Jonah will be going at Wendy over Ben

Too dark and gloomy ?
This take sounds extremely soft. Ngl.

Besides the fact there was tons of lighthearted moments for faint hearted viewers. I mean shyt ...

bytches need to learn: listen to Marty.

Helen and Wendy both lost the game this season thinking they're smarter than Marty.

Ruth going to Darlene is interesting, as she is a tier 1 G plus she learned the game at the top level from Marty and Wendy, so she might turn their drug gang into a major thing. But even with her, I think it'll be a case of should have listened to Marty and stayed, as Darlene will probably go psycho on her and have to be killed.

I actually think Ruth is going to team up with Darlene. Her and Wyatt will essentially restore the family glory by taking over Darlene’s business after they wack her psycho ass or the cartel gets to her. The gall of her to think they would distribute her product after that fentanyl shyt she pulled. It would be interesting to see the dynamic of Ruth was in charge of her own operation in competition with Marty, how the cartel will want to handle it, and the response from the Byrde’s.

They didn’t lose this season at all IMO. They got rid of the middleman and have direct access to Navarro. Only thing is, they have NO room for error at this point.

That damn therapist. What the fukk was she thinking? No chance I make peace with anyone that does that to my son. Maybe a leg shot. But that was overkill.

marty doesnt need hitters, the cartel should supply them with everything they need after defeating the other cartel. ruth joining darlenes crew will defiantly be interesting. the kids dont really matter at this point, there just annoying. i will defiantly miss helen, she was interesting but marty was always a step ahead

I was on the last episode when I decided to come in this thread and ruin that development for myself:francis:

Yeah dude was on some “why you tryna throw coins at my feet” to Marty when Ruth threw dude off the boat so if he peaces things up with Darlene that quick it would be weak writing so hopefully they don’t go that route.
