So the Coachella crowd went nuts for Wu-Tang's 90's catalogue, and went nuts for Dre & Snoop's 90's catalogue, but they "don't know" Outkast's 90's catalogue? What?
How can you even generalize a whole Coachella crowd? Have you ever been to the event before? Do you have any clue how many people go? You seriously think you can make blanket generalizations about a crowd, based on a YouTube video with occasional crowd shots from one angle on ONE of the stages?
This board is nonsense.
1st rule of music. Rock the crowd. There is no comfort zone on the stage. Could be 30 people or 30,000 still gotta rock.
Never blame the crowd. You don't do that. As a professional musician you should be able to go worldwide and rock out.
I been listening to Outkast since 92, Parental Advisory too for those who remember the early Dungeon fam shyt.
They sold alot of records off "Hey yah" and I guess they thought those fickle Walmart audiences who bought the album were real fans. Big Boi's solo sales will tell you they were not.
They went there feeling like they were the biggest group in the world and everybody knows their stuff, it's Outkast. Nah and this show was a rude awakening. It's a festival. People want familiarity and loud noises.
Can't blame a crowd without blaming yourself first. Wu, Snoop and Dre and now Nas rocked out there.....No excuses. Look within.
