Dope set, crowd was pretty weak. Lame ass coachella cutting them short and not letting killer mike perform was some sucker shyt. They should be straight in more intimate settings. I'm sure their concerts in the south will be much better since Outkast is our shyt

They should've just done at straight up Outkast Reunion tour. Dre would likely be more comfortable performing in front crowds that specifically came to see Outkast.

That coachella crowd was :trash: no energy at all. The performance wasn't bad but the crowd and cut off ending really dampens the entire set.

Genuine question: was Nas headlining? Everyone BUT the headliner has multiple other acts playing simultaneously. That means only the people that want to see you perform will attend.

there is always choices at coachella...never a time when just 1 act is playing...

4 other acts were playing at the same time as outkast

When you're the final act on a stage what would you call that then breh?
A British dance act was the last to perform one day at Coachella last year, were they the headline act?

Let's break up the word.. HEADLINE... as in the the big letters on top of the bill.. the headline.. Nas was not that.

AT that time only stans are staying up to watch. I went last year and I slept, smoked or enjoyed a woman when the last acts were performing.

So after watching Nas bring Jay out ... monumental but with a fairly subdued reaction from the coachella crowd.. I reckon Big Boi and Andre need to realise that it wasn't them, Its the state of the industry which is way to EDM centric right now.

I think they truly need to keep going with this though.. but still stand by my original post about the need to have 1 or 2 songs on the radio in conjunction to pull the youngsters in. Not sure if they can do anything there though with the record label situation.

So the Coachella crowd went nuts for Wu-Tang's 90's catalogue, and went nuts for Dre & Snoop's 90's catalogue, but they "don't know" Outkast's 90's catalogue? What?

How can you even generalize a whole Coachella crowd? Have you ever been to the event before? Do you have any clue how many people go? You seriously think you can make blanket generalizations about a crowd, based on a YouTube video with occasional crowd shots from one angle on ONE of the stages?

This board is nonsense.

1st rule of music. Rock the crowd. There is no comfort zone on the stage. Could be 30 people or 30,000 still gotta rock.

Never blame the crowd. You don't do that. As a professional musician you should be able to go worldwide and rock out.

I been listening to Outkast since 92, Parental Advisory too for those who remember the early Dungeon fam shyt.

They sold alot of records off "Hey yah" and I guess they thought those fickle Walmart audiences who bought the album were real fans. Big Boi's solo sales will tell you they were not.

They went there feeling like they were the biggest group in the world and everybody knows their stuff, it's Outkast. Nah and this show was a rude awakening. It's a festival. People want familiarity and loud noises.

Can't blame a crowd without blaming yourself first. Wu, Snoop and Dre and now Nas rocked out there.....No excuses. Look within.
