I'm just finishing it up. I enjoyed it way more than last season. Can't really articulate why but I guess cause it's not really grand-scale or high stakes as those. Just felt better.
The rape stuff kinda got to me. It affected me moreso than it has in other shows. Also the Jewish stuff was surprisingly nice for something that seemed like a throwaway plot. And Alex, I guess we're supposed to assume but damn. I hated every time she was onscreen but still man.
The Norma shyt gets old kinda quick but meh.
Oh. I also don't have any bias against Piper like I see most people around the internet do but anytime there's relationship stuff, it grinds the show to a halt but I guess it was at least kind of necessary given how it ends up. I'll speak with vagueness but I didn't 100% buy what was being sold, I still kind of accept it while at the same time finding it annoying.

Cesar was funny but also awful but kind of honorable at the same time. But shouldn't be around kids at all.

I like that the Norma storyline helped with the Soso story, cause I like her both physically and for her better than most acting. And the Leanne story because she's been consistently funny and her backstory reveal honestly took me by surprise. I was honestly waiting for them to explain the random German.
I wasn't in the last threads to talk about this show so this thread is basically my venting of all my thoughts of the show in general.
That being said, Healy is a scumbag through and through but he was right about that different hairstyle every week thing so I had to laugh at that.
I really enjoy the dynamic between Dayanara and Aleida. She's a shytty mother and person but I like both of their naturalistic takes on the characters. That backstory showed off a bit m ore to what the moms could do.

Yeah I thought he was gonna disappear for a few weeks to "clear his head" or something like that and then bounce back, but it got too real for him and he dipped. bytchmade shyt but whatever.
