The entire season was worth it for the ass whooping Vader got in this amazing fight sequence and the aftermath of the fight.
Thought the episode had some really good stuff mixed with the questionable things this series has been plagued by.
One thing that stands out is, why would Obi Wan risk going to Alderaan and greet Leia in public, with random guards right there? Seems like way too much of a risk given his status currently. If they wanted to have a final goodbye with Leia, it should have been in a undisclosed location, and even that is pushing it. It's another example of wanting an emotional beat trumping logic.
Reva was unfortunately a poor character, and Moses tried her best but was unable to sell it overall. Part of it was the writing, and part of it was her acting choices.
Overall, and I'm a huge SW fan, and try to apologize for as much as I can - the series was not what it could have been. Had it been, I would be excited to give it a rewatch right away. As it stands, I may revisit it some time in the future but not rushing to.
Last thing I'll say is that I saw someone point out how Obi Wan should have killed Vader given the threat he poses to the galaxy. My take on it is that the Jedi trust the force. Killing Vader wouldn't have gotten rid of the Empire, and with the Jedi all but gone and no real rebel alliance yet he couldn't have taken him prisoner. His only choice was to leave him, and hope that a time would come when the force would restore balance. It's not the Jedi way to kill a defeated foe in cold blood. They purposely showed Anakin doing that to Dooku to further show how he was sliding into the dark side.

Minus the goofy stuff...I enjoyed this especially ep5 -6. I know it's blasphemy but I think they should remake and update the original trilogy. I know it's sacred to the old people but I feel alot of what can be done in this universe is constrained because they're trying to stay true to those old films in the 70s. Just think if they remade ep 4 and the Vader and Kenobi fight was something like in ep 5-6 than that clunky stuff we saw back then. I know they were constraints due to technology but it's 2022 now.

Kenobi is regarded as one of the best light saber swordsmen in the galaxy behind prime anakin pre Vader. I think Mace is top 3 in canon. I think. But you gotta peep in ANH how Vader switched his style to hide his front facing control panel.

I would love for them to go back to the old republic. You can go the Mandalorian war or the period before the rule of two was established. I just want to see hundreds of Jedi and Sith fighting that's all

I enjoyed the finale and the entire season. I mean the writers were painted into a corner, so we knew that obi wan/vader/leia/luke etc would not die in this show. hard to create a compelling finale with existing characters given we know the fate of them all from the movies.

Worst part of the episode was cutting to Reva multiple times during the ONLY REASON SW fans are watching this shyt...I feel so bad for Moses, she did her thing but these fukking writers and garbage direction did her so fukking dirty...They literally used her to troll the fanbase in this episode...
We all been tuning in for Vader vs Obi and these fukking trolls cutting to irrelevant shyt multiple times in the middle of the duel...It made sense in episode 5 because they were sparring in a flashback but why the fukk are you doing that shyt in the showdown duel in the finale? You couldn't just give us 30 minutes straight of Vader vs Obi and then did that Reva chasing Luke shyt at the end while Obi flying back to Tatooine?
Anyways this shyt was mid as fukk, better than Boba Fett which was straight up bad fan fiction trash but that is like saying TLJ is better than TROS...
This was the last straw for me, if it ain't Dave and John with complete creative control like they do on Mando, I ain't watching...
