Of course, as per usual, there's nothing that will please some of you miserable ass fools :russ:

Anyways, wow. Episode 3 was great. They really went into the deep of things real quick. Darth washing Obi lol. My only complaint is that this show is 6 episodes instead of 8-9.

I'm glad that they are (slightly) retconning A New Hope. Honestly, they need to treat the first 3 SW films as only being semi/partially-connected to the rest of the Star Wars lore.

I'm enjoying it, but this shyt feels low budget.
there's no magic on Disney+

most of the shows have been entertaining, but it just doesn't feel anywhere near the same. Seeing
James Earl Jones Darth Vader
on a random ass wednesday episode 3 of a show just doesn't have the same impact as seeing it on the big screen. i understand thats a nitpick, and what the fukk do i expect, but i can't really articulate it any better. that "magic" doesn't exist anymore.

Just finished watching, I enjoyed it :obama:although I'm sure the fanbase will find some reason to be upset

Beginning of episode was cool

Ppl still stupidly doing what Leia tells them to do

I don't like Obi-Wan freezing up and running from Vader

Idk why, I just feel like it's a tired trope

Also I know it's been canon for a while, but I don't like Uber I'm better than every other Jedi Vader

But I guess you got to do that when there are so many Jedi running around

To be fair, this is an Obi-Wan that hasn't used a lightsaber in a decade. Wouldn't make sense for him to be able to go right back into Episode III mode.

Vader on the other hand has been extremely active the last 10 years being Palpatine's enforcer. Wouldn't make sense for Obi Wan to be able to do much.

IMO, the original are really standalone films. The original Star Wars film wasn't expected to become a global phenomenon.

The first 3 films got retconned with the "prequels" but it's obvious that they should be their own thing - only loosely connected with the rest of the SW universe.

So I’m guessing we are in for a bacta tank episode flashback/dream. Maybe Qui-Gon will reach out to him

Vader could have choked that robot out from across the fire lol.
Whole scene was stupid as hell. They couldn't go around the fire?
Don't you dare use your brain to point out how stupid this shyt was or you're a miserable fukk cause we got Obi-Wan vs Vader and it doesn't matter if the scene was wack and didn't make any sense.
Vader let Obi-Wan escape on purpose. He wasn't satisfied with the fight and knows that Obi is weak.

Vader wants a proper fight with Obi. That fight will happen in the series finale. However, y'all are miserable. Typical Star Wars fans lol.

You have to try harder with tv. It’s not impossible.

They aren’t going to do the chase at the beginning of Attack of the Clones on a tv budget.

Something like Battlestar Galactica was obviously filmed in Canada on a budget but they still managed to make tense narrative and action scenes.

I have no complaints about the visuals. They're fine.

Also, these types of shows have big budgets. It's a rumor but it was probably around $25 million per episode to make this show.

These star wars shows are working with season 7/8 game of thrones budgets

I get what you're saying but it's still kinda blasphemous :picard:

That’s really not a lot though.

The thing that makes movies is the ability to take your time. The nature of tv shows is to film as much as you can while you can.

There’s a reason Obi-Wan’s desert looks like the same one from the Mandalorian episode.

Nolan will film in 3 continents for one Batman movie.
