I just don’t understand why they keep focusing on the same time period. Did we really need Obi Wan? I know Ewan was great in the role , but why not let that time period breath a little, especially after Solo and Rogue one.? Mandalorians period is better because we can see the lawlessness and hopefully some seeds being planted of The First Order. I feel like Old republic or the birth of Jedi/ Sith would be better . Or even 30-40 years in the future(after this trilogy) where Luke, Leia , Han etc are for real legends.

An Old Republic show would be nice. A lot of people know the story from the games but a show would expose it to an even bigger audience and could be great

They should make the series about Obi Wan and Anakin’s adventures after Attack of the Clones and before Revenge of the Sith

they have 6 seasons of that with the Clone Wars animated series.

The lawlessness in the mandalorian was because it was in the unknown regions not because of the fall of the empire. They do need to move this into the future thi.

It was not in the unknown regions. If it was unknown then the empire wouldn’t be there. It’s because the empire was splintered and local empire warlords has taken over sectors .

Plus I read the aftermath series , Bloodline and the resistance reborn crap. So I know the potential that is out there for that period .

Plus I read the aftermath series , Bloodline and the resistance reborn crap. So I know the potential that is out there for that period .

The empire did try to take control of some parts of the unknown regions and the empire wasn't there. Like you said I was a splintered faction.
