They are probably thinking Ciampa got injured last time before they finished it and tbh what else is there for them to do? Cole isnt dropping the title just yet and not to Ciampa (he will drop it to Velveteen) but Ciampa is too over to lose clean and Gargano just lost clean to Balor so they cant go back there, its probably a stop gap finish what they started while giving them something with an actual back story to do while they are out of the title picture,
