Man, Ospreay got a good match out of Yujiro, something that even Okada couldn't do. Of course, Rainmaker was giving like 10% effort in those matches. Ospreay was trying to prove he belongs in the division and it shows. Good match, short and to the point.
Cobb vs Taichi
lol at the crowd clapping for the physique of the former junior wrestlers. Best Taichi match I've seen in a while. Started slow but it got into full gear without many usual Taichi shenanigans. Too early to say if it's gonna be another difficult G1 for Cobb, he looked ok. No Miho Abe, that's sad.
Ishii vs Suzuki
Fukking hell, this was what we expected and then some. Hard hitting from the beginning. That gotch piledriver looked devastating. Best match of the night. Cobb better step up his stamina before facing these two.
White vs Shingo
How the fukk you follow the previous match with Jay fukking White. Gawd, he sucks. That's right, keep clapping to try and get a reaction, dummy. You don't try to outsmart a Dragon Gate veteran, they wrestle at lightspeed. Shingo saw every trick in your book. Fukking Bullet Club bullshyt tactics, man. I hate them.
Okada vs Ibushi
Why do you keep going for the Cobra Clutch. Go for the Rainmaker. Again with the clutch? GO FOR THE RAINMAKER. See what you did, TSC? You picked the Clothesline from Hell over the Rainmaker and now he isn't using it. Wow, that was absolutely clean. Hope Okada learned his lesson. Second best match of the night.
Ibushi
