I know its wrong brehs but I'll be there day 1.
Although I was kinda hoping they would port Xenoblade over to the Wii U along with Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Its pretty stupid of Iwata to announce this shyt now. It would make more sense to announce this after they release a Smash Bros bundle and after the holidays. They probably just reduced their 4th quarter sales. And its weird how Nintendo doesnt announce new hardware at gaming conventions like everyone else.

The stupidity that means they want you to upgrade to play the new games that can't be played on the old hardware. Hopefully it will be only $150 in the West

The name New 3DS is dumb though and Iwata needs to really get it together in that department. Wii U is a bad name too.

Games compatible with the "New" 3DS won't be able to be purchased by close to 50 million potential customers. Its like launching a new console but not because they really didn't.

Pretty much and its obviously to keep costs down.
The one good thing about it is that I can still play my 3DS and DS games on it and it means they have to get quite a few new and notable titles on the new hardware to justify the upgrade to consumers.

I'm kinda hoping they have Unity support on this new revision too.

So apparently Nintendo went the fukk off in a Japanese Direct earlier today. New 3DS announced with more power, an extra stick, and apparently has games exclusive to it.

REALLY glad I held off buying a 3DS now.

I will just chill with my Vita for a little while longer until this launches.
