Props on the rec, was in the mood for some heist action so I finally started Money Heist. I remember it being big when it hit a few years ago, 2 episodes in so far

Yeah it's based on Harlen Coben's books. The author made a deal with Netflix. The Stranger, The Woods, and The Innocent are all his. He also got two more series coming out on Netflix.

I didn't know this until the themes in The Innocent felt familiar which made me look it up.

that warns him about his wife faking a pregnancy. Husband decides to investigate, his wife disappears, and then he finds out he's surrounded by a bunch of lying muhfukkas. I liked it tho but I remember you and a few others sandbagging it since it got ridiculous half way in.

yes, that’s it. But wasn’t there a side story -something about her father was a police officer after she found out her bio dad was not her dad? Mannnnnn
I have watched so many UK,US, Spanish, Asian thriller/horror series since lockdown that they’re all a blur to me. Your description could literally apply to like 5-6 series and/or 5-6 of my friends’ lives in real life over this year. Lol.

HBO Max might as well call itself NetBOMAXFLIX - HBO NOMAS can’t push a decent movie out since they consolidated the platform. WW84 fail , Godzilla Kong fail, I heard mortal Kombat wasn’t good- all I know is that they better redeem themselves with Conjuring 3: devil made me do it or it’s over - I’m not gonna Keep letting them treat me like an abused wife, talking about it will get better as they hit me over the head with bad productions and that’s after they take away something I really liked - The Outsider

Pure Revenge-they did but it was one of those endings where it could have been open to interpretation but it wasn’t. It wasn’t even about money anymore- pure madness and anger retaliation. “If one of mine was taken out, you and your loved ones need to feel the same pain”

Like The Departed, with DiCaprio- everyone had a motive for revenge, control, cover ups or money until they all canceled each other out. Remember the man leaving on the boat with his pregnant wife waving from the beach- he was pretty much connected to everybody - the head black “fbi” boss or whatever they call the position in Europe wanted revenge for his law enforcement colleague. Recall all of the policemen killed at the weapons drop spot gone wrong? And his friend? At that point, it was strictly, “eye for an eye”

The violence is just beginning. Have you started episode 2? @MidniteJay - that autopsy scene with the nun- you couldn’t have warned us about this part b??!! the most graphic and detailed - they did too much. The slow motion camera zoom- Really??! Like Really -

they took the budget from those Tyler Perry-ish production wigs they have and used that on the graphic scenes.
